Works On Me Privacy Policy

Works On Me provides cosmetic skin analysis from quiz answers and a selfie. We do not sell your personal data. Scan photos are used only to generate your analysis and are not stored on Works On Me servers. Scan photos are not used to train Works On Me models without explicit opt-in.

Information We Collect

The app stores your quiz answers, scan records, and saved scan photos locally on your device. If you subscribe, scan history remains on your device so you can compare progress over time.

When you request an analysis, the app sends your quiz answers and a compressed selfie to our analysis endpoint. The endpoint forwards that request to OpenAI to generate the cosmetic report.

If you allow location access, the app uses your approximate location at scan time to request local humidity, UV index, and weather context. Coordinates are used for that weather request and are not saved in your scan history.

If you request early access on the website, Works On Me collects your email address only for waitlist and launch updates.

Works On Me is for adults 18 and older at launch.

How We Use Information

To generate your cosmetic Dermal Index estimate and marker bands.
To show your report, timeline, and scan comparisons inside the app.
To send waitlist and launch updates if you request early access.
To process subscriptions and restore purchases through RevenueCat and Apple.

Data Monetization

We may use aggregate, anonymized insights to understand product performance. We never sell or share individual user data. Brand payments never influence Works On Me recommendations.

Photo Handling

Scan photos are not persisted by Works On Me servers. Paying users can save scan photos locally on their device for timeline and comparison features. You can delete local scan data from the app footer. Scan photos are not used to train Works On Me models without explicit opt-in.

Third-Party Services

Works On Me uses OpenAI for analysis generation, Open-Meteo for weather context, RevenueCat for subscription entitlement management, and Apple for App Store purchases. These providers process data only as needed to provide the app experience.
